Reviewing and Releasing Quarantined Emails
To improve the user experience, ITSC introduced a new feature in Outlook to manage the quarantined emails that is classified as potential spam and phishing emails according to quarantine policies of Microsoft
With this new feature, you will be able to:
- Review emails that have been quarantined due to potential security threats.
- Release any legitimate emails that may have been mistakenly identified as spam or harmful.
- An email notification will notify you if there are any email quarantined. You may also visit https://security.microsoft.com/quarantine to see if you have missed any quarantined emails.
- You will receive an email notification from Microsoft if you have an email that has been quarantined. You may want to click on “Review Message” button to view the details of this email.
- You will be redirect to the quarantined list and view all the emails that have been quarantined..
Review Specific EmailClick on the “Preview Message” to Preview the email.
Request Release Specific Email
You may select the email and click on the “Request release” button to release the email you select.
